In Our Sunny Corner...

of the World: Our Week in Pictures!

She so desperately wants him to play with her!

And he just...
lays...
there!

But she enjoys him anyway.  I keep telling her to enjoy that fact that he is immobile because when he isn't...well, I can just hear her now.  "Mommy, Noah is messing up my toys!" or "Noah is playing with MY dolls, Mom, get him out of here!!"  yes, well.  She doesn't get it...yet.

Daddy, wearing Noah!

And the kid LOVES it...every.single.moment.of.it!  Surest, fastest way to get him to sleep.  Pronto!

Last Saturday, from 9:30-11:30am we were invited to Chloe's preschool for Family Day.  It was a delightful couple hours.  Very well organized and a lot of fun.  The morning was divided up into 15 minute segments, where every 15 minutes we changed rooms to enjoy a different activity.  This is the Game Room.  Chloe is playing with her little school buddy, R.

This was obviously the Face and Hand Painting room.  We had way too much fun!  No one escaped.

Not even Noah boy!  He was the one that received the most attention in the entire school.  Even the directors and teachers were taking his picture!  He is just the irresistible!

Chloe said, "Look at my brother!  He is a clown!"

The Painting Room: made with homemade, washable paints.  I can't wait to make a batch of this paint.  We were sent home with the recipes for all the homemade craft supplies.  Too fun!

Avo Rosa ended up being the "baby carrier" as we moved from activity to activity so I could play with Chloe and Everson.

Chloe with her TA Paula....a lovely girl who Chloe regularly makes drawings for, wraps them in layers and layers of tissue paper or crepe paper and takes them to "Pro. Paula"!

It was all very exhausting!

Homemade playdough

The morning finished up with a little play put on by several of the teachers and TAs...this is Chloe's other TA Eduardo, who played the Rat in the theater production!  A fun time was had by all.

He was keeping me company yesterday morning while I worked on emails and checked FB...he found it a bit boring in the end....

And slept away!
Tomorrow is a national holiday and we are excited to have daddy and Chloe home with us for three straight days.  Noah is a sad little boy today due to his morning vaccines.  Breaks this mommy heart.  His "Tata" Amanda is here this afternoon and loving on him while Chloe sleeps and Mommy gets a few things ticked off the never-ending to do list!

Have a blessed and fun weekend.
I will be back next week!
