One Thing I Ask...

Celebrating LIFE.  Celebrating God's GOODNESS, His KINDNESS, His BLESSING Over My Life For 39 Incredible Years

"One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek;  that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple.  For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock...I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."
Psalm 27:4-5, 13-14

According to Brazilian tradition, I gave myself a little birthday party.  Really, it was a beautiful excuse to invite some people very special in my life to come have afternoon coffee/tea with me and enjoy being together.  There were many special women missing but those who were able to come made my day truly very special.

My little ones and I

My Chloe loves birthdays.  I am never sure who is more excited about my day.

Several months ago I saw this cake on Pinterest and sent it to my friend, Juliana.  This was the result.  Darling and quite delicious.  Thank you, Ju!!!!  It was perfect!

My newest friends: Flavia and Mathilde, who happen to also be my next door neighbors.  Well, across-the-parking-lot neighbors...our littles talk to each other from our respective windows!!!

These three give a new meaning to "three peas in a pod."

Words cannot describe my love and appreciation for Juliana and Lucinha.  True gifts from God in my life.

My precious in laws...FIL said he came to represent the males of the family!!!!

When I think of people God has put in my life during very crucial times here in Brazil, I think first of Vanda and Amanda.  Special does not even come close to describing them.  They are vital and precious to me.

39 Years...and counting!

This year I truly want to simply "dwell in the house of the Lord."
I want to focus on His goodness.  His kindness.
I will choose to wait.  Graciously.  Patiently.  Expectantly.
He is up to great things.  I have no idea what but He is.  This year will be a blessed one.

Feeling incredibly blessed and loved,
Jama
