Our Storm Has Passed

And how we pray we are truly not the same people who entered the said storm 7 long months ago.

7 months & 1 day, 29 interviews, literally hundreds of emails, untold #s of phone calls, many tears, prayers and days of intense discouragement, months of seeing God provide for.every.single.need, and the comfort of friends and family walking with us through the pain...

Drum roll, please...

Today my husband went back to work!

If you have never been unemployed with a family depending on you for basic human needs, you have no idea what today was like for my husband and I.  And if you have been there, then you KNOW!

What ironing a dress shirt once again for him means to me.  What the prospect of a salary check coming again means to our finances.  What having a reason to get up every day means to him.  How excited I am that the annoying alarm clock will go off every.single.day at 5:30 once again.  Oh, we are so blessed.

As I thought today about those who have walked this journey with us so faithfully: emailing us, encouraging us, counseling us, calling with job leads, logging hours praying with us and for us, I just sat and cried.  Joyous tears this time because you mean so much to us.  Thank you.  Words could never express our gratitude so once again, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

May the good Lord bless you richly in return for blessing us.  And please don't stop praying for us!
