And It's Back To A Routine...

At least it feels like it!

We will see how long it lasts.  Our lives are far from boring recently, it seems.

It's Monday morning.  Daddy went to work.  Sister went to school.  Brother is sleeping.

And honestly, mommy feels a little bit at a loss...

It's just been such a long time since it's been just me.  Not sure how I feel about it!

We have been on a bit of a wedding marathon since December.

Since last week was the wedding of a very dear friend of ours and she is loved by some of our people, I will post a few pictures of Luiz & Juliana's wedding.

The beautiful dessert table...always the center of decoration for any Brazilian event!

The decorations for Luiz & Ju's small wedding were some of the most beautiful I have seen yet.  They were just lovely.

The Favor table: Bem casados, typical little round cakes with a filling in the middle!

The Bride & Groom's table

Our precious Tia Vanusa loving on a grumpy Chloe!

I had to wake both kiddos up to get to the wedding on time, so it took them both a bit to get into the wedding mood.
My two handsome men!

The Groom and His Mother waiting for the Bride

Beautiful couple: happy to finally be married after waiting for God's perfect timing for five long years.

The Groom's very large family...with Chloe included!  Luiz has three brothers and one sister, a very large family for Brazilians.  I love visiting their home because it is always full of activity and people coming and going!

Noah has no issues making himself right at home, even at the bride's table, especially if there is food to be had.  We laugh and say Tio Luiz has to share Ju with Noah because he is in love with her too!  He doesn't seem to mind.

Four days later I was invited to join the newlyweds at their civil ceremony to take pictures for them.  Here they are at the "cartorio" waiting for their turn in a LONG line of couples waiting to get married officially in the eyes of the Brazilian law.

The lovely bride and one of my dearest, more treasured friends here in Brazil.  This girl is my confidant, my sister, my nanny, my counselor, my friend.  She has been one of my stoutest supporters during the last 7 hard months of my husband's unemployment.  How amazing that the month she finally gets married, my husband starts working.  We have wept often together, today we rejoice with each other deeply, completely.  Truly, God makes all things beautiful in HIS TIME!

We love this couple so dearly and truly wish them all of God's richest, sweetest blessings on their marriage and home.
A few pictures of Chloe playing "at the beach" this past weekend.  She said because I won't take her to the beach, she was going to play beach instead.  Poor child, she just doesn't understand why we can't go to the beach more often.

Holding her breath "under water"!

We even went "fishing" with brother when he woke up!
God is good.  All the time.

May this week be one full of His joy, His blessing and His protection.
