During one of my almost daily visits to the hospital for Everson's 10 day hospital stay...so so so grateful he is home and recuperating...and back to work already! |

This is how our daughter goes to sleep: headband, notebooks, pencils, pens, dolls and usually the latest gift she has been given. My nightly ritual is to remove it all after the child falls asleep. Amanda, this picture is for you girl, lest you think she possibly did not like your gift to her of notebooks and 2 pencil bags! She slept with them for nights after! |

Noah has discovered toys are marvelous things and thinks they are hilarious dangling above his head! |

Our amazing Thanksgiving Day dinner at Restoration Ministries. It was such a blessing to participate in this outreach to the English students from the newly formed English School. It was a neat evening. Most different Thanksgiving I have had yet, but this time I did not make one single dish or decorate one single table. A lovely new friend and her five children are here from the USA and she prepared all the food, activities and decorations. Here the students are putting soup bags together to give as gifts after learning that Thankfulness Leads to Generosity! |

My darling friend, Damares. I love this girl and wanted to include this picture because I liked it so much! |

The three worship songs that made up part of our evening... |

The Thankfulness Tree, where we wrote on leaves what we were grateful for. |

Friday afternoon: Finally, finally, finally, Daddy home from the hospital safe and sound! Our home was a happy place this weekend! |

It was a total honor to be invited yesterday, December 1st, to join our friend, A and her five children for their first day of the Advent celebration. She has the most amazing book that she will read a little from each day now until Christmas. Here she is sharing a devotional to start with that came to her phone yesterday. |

Opening the first door in the book. |

They so graciously invited Chloe to be the first one to hang the first ornament on their Jesse Tree. |

Exciting younger children opening their surprise, a Fisher Price plastic nativity set. |

"Joy to the world, the Lord has come!" |
It is December.
I love December.
I love hot Decembers.
I love Christmas even more.
I don't like that I have left my shopping until now. Tomorrow I hit the streets. Deep sigh.
The month of November wasn't what we would have asked for, but we would not change a thing.
Because God is good all the time and faithful beyond description.
Have a wonderful, wonderful week.
And by the way, Happy first week of December!
