Our little princess in her darling red dress that auntie Tati had brought from the USA just weeks before.  The first time she wore it, she ripped the tool overlay running around like a crazy child at church.  Her auntie thought it was hilarious and so Chloe and we simply had to take pictures of the ripped dress.  So here they are!

There is a time for everything and in my opinion, family pictures were way overdue!  Many, many thanks to my dear, sweet sister-in-law, Tatiane, for blessing not only us but my husband's family as well, on Christmas Day.  We finally, finally managed an entire family photo shoot.  I had been wanting to do it for years, but it just never seemed to happen.  Too many people in too many directions and the simple fact that family pictures are not common here in Brazil, it just kept getting put off.  I was thrilled that everyone cooperated so well and really wanted to see it happen this year.

I became the bossy daughter and sister-in-law, telling everyone to wear this or that after nosing through their wardrobes!  Tati ran the camera end of things and even though it was the HOTTEST day of the year (literally!) and everyone was dying in the sun pictures, they all smiled and took it in stride.

And finally, but certainly NOT least, a few of us: the love of my life and I.  He still makes my heart beat faster when he walks in the door or when I watch him playing the guitar at church, or playing with our little daughter child.  He is my love, my friend, my counselor, my confidant.  Living life at his side makes it all worth it.  

It is with immense joy and gratitude to our gracious heavenly Father that we announce the expected arrival of our second child in September 2013.  We have prayed for some time for this child and are just overwhelmed that God has saw fit to bless us one more time with the incredible, priceless gift of a child.  

I do ask that you would keep us, me especially, in your prayers.  My first pregnancy was extremely difficult and we are praying, if it is God's will, that this one will be a bit smoother and I will have the needed stamina to keep up with our extremely busy toddler!
