This baby LOVES to eat rocks...well, not literally, she loves to suck on them! |
Enjoying great "Uncle" (as they call him!) from Oregon. Makes me so pleased they love him as much as I do. |
Noah was supposed to be named after my U.Michael and why he is Noah Miguel instead of Michael is another story but suffice to say, in my head and heart, they are namesakes, after all Miguel is Portuguese for Michael! |
Baking in preparation for lots of out-of-states visitors expected in June! |
If there ever were two girls more alike, I have never seen it. Two Peas in a Pod, these two precious, energetic girls. How I love them both. And how they love each other. |
A boy in love with motorcycles, trains and trucks! |
Another special, special visit with our Oakland friends this week was enjoyed by all. This woman has been so incredibly instrumental in my life in so many ways that i cannot even begin to describe her. Her visits mean the world to me and watching her with her precious little girl is so fun. |

Last night's long awaited event: My cousin's High School graduation ceremony. So proud of Jenelle and excited to see how God is going to use this beautiful and talented and godly young woman for His glory. Go with God, Jen, as you embark on your journey into the college world! |
While mommy had an evening out last night, my little ones stayed with my aunt and uncle and had a glorious time being loved on and blessed in so many ways. Chloe is so tired here but apparently she enjoyed "mothering" Rosie the dog while i was away! |
Again, excuse my daughter's weary face but I love this picture. This uncle and aunt have played such a vital role in my life and I just LOVE that they are so willing to play a role in my children's lives as well. THANK YOU, U. John and A. Betsy! |
We continue to be very busy here in California, visiting lovely people, eating glorious food, soaking up love and teaching and instruction and encouragement. I am thoroughly enjoying hearing the Word of God in English, worship in English...well, you get the picture! We have had some quiet days here at my mom and dad's as well. Evenings of watching movies together, eating popcorn and slow mornings enjoying our Brazilian coffee made only how my dad can make it. Today it was just my little ones and I for lunch: we spread out a blanket in the cool shade and had a picnic and just enjoyed being together.
I am trying to truly enjoy these slower days with my children: free from being in charge of a home, schedule and real life. It is vacation and we need this stress-free time together.
This morning we enjoyed a long chat with Daddy via IMO, our phone version of skype. He even got to watch them play in the sandbox! Today I am just grateful for Technology. We are so blessed. Beyond blessed. Overwhelmingly grateful. God is so good.
