We spent Christmas Eve here in our home for the first time ever, with just Everson's immediate family joining us. We had Mexican food and enjoyed a quiet evening together.
We spent Christmas Day at a "chacara," the typical place for families to hold events because homes are too small to hold everyone. We celebrated Everson's grandmother's 80th birthday with about 60 family members in attendance. The pool was the main attraction on that blistering hot day! I took pictures but blogspot is driving me crazy tonight and my camera is acting out again so those will have to wait.
Tomorrow morning in the wee hours of the morning, we are headed to the beach for New Years! So, goodbye 2014. When we get back, we will be enjoying 2015 already.
