I was in the throws of the last stages of labor...pretty sure I would not survive...surrounded by two amazing people who were pretty sure I would survive...begging the warm, soothing water of a lovely birthing bathtub to bring a little relief to the onslaught of contractions that were so faithfully racking my body but would be the key to bringing our little angel love into this world.
These precious weeks just continue to fly by and we are settling into...life as a family of 4...a world where 8 or so hours a day are spent sleeping while the REST of the world is sleeping, too! Yes, little Noah is getting the night thing. We are grateful! He LOVES to eat so thinks that more than 4 hours is asking a lot of a growing boy, but he is getting it. We celebrate every single little breakthrough! His tummy is adjusting. Mommy is adjusting. Our world is righting itself...mostly because HE is good, HE is faithful. Our God has been most gracious and kind to us.
A smattering of our past week in picture form:

A "tent" behind the couch with Grammie so graciously crunched in, too! |

Watching Dora the Explorer...maybe this is her way of removing herself a bit from society for awhile! |
 |
Grammie...multi-tasking! |

These pictures are too show off my double chin!!! |

My mommy says she is pleased I am getting so fat...she said it is not an insult and chubby baby boys are the BEST!
The big excitement around our house these days besides the fact I am getting fat, is that my Papa Rod will be arriving in 3 more days! We.Are.So.Excited.
Happy Weekend to all you precious people!
